Launched on 16th January 2016, the Startup India Initiative has rolled out several programs with the objective of supporting entrepreneurs, building a robust startup ecosystem, and transforming India into a country of job creators instead of job seekers. These programs are managed by a dedicated Startup India Team, which reports to the Department for Industrial Policy and Promotion (DPIIT).

To establish a world-class startup ecosystem in the state by developing a robust infrastructure and providing conducive policy environment. This is an Initiative developed by the Government of India.

Navachar Incubation Centre (NIC), is a catalyst in creating a more vital startup ecosystem across the state with its cohesive approach in inculcating entrepreneurial spirit in the youth. NIC undertakes strategic interventions to develop a benchmark incubation support system in the state by linking students, academia, industry, and society.
